The existing unsightly roof plant is consolidated into a new sixth floor volume that provides an appropriate resolution to the street façades.
Ingram House, 13 - 15 John Adam Street
The practice were involved in the remodelling and renovation of this 1960s building in the Adelphi Conservation Area, adjacent to Grade II* Listed buildings at 1–3 Robert Street. Our remodelling of the exterior established a well balanced and well proportioned form which replaces the failing precast concrete façade.
Externally, the proposals remodel the exterior of the building to establish a well balanced and well proportioned form in local townscape views. A natural stone and brick elevation replaces the failing precast concrete facade.
Two floors of residential space are set above offices, expanding the residential provision to floors 1 through 6 and creating refurbished offices at ground and lower ground floor level.
