Planning consent for Nightingale House

05 06 2019

Last night, Westminster City Council unanimously resolved to grant planning consent for our proposals for Nightingale House on Curzon Street.

A retail arcade restores a historic pedestrian link between Stratton Street and Curzon Street which will transform patterns of movement in modern Mayfair. The link lies on the most direct route between Green Park Underground Station to the south and Bond Street Crossrail to the north. Pedestrian movement consultants Space Syntax, assessing the impact of the arcade, predict that Stratton Street, currently the least well used of all the streets running north from Piccadilly, will be transformed to become the most active.

Fred Pilbrow: “We are delighted by Westminster’s strong support for our vision to facilitate movement between Bond Street and Green Park Stations – the two principal entrance points to Mayfair. Our public realm proposals have, we believe, strong synergies with neighbouring initiatives including Grosvenor’s enhancements to Berkeley Square and the Mayfair Neighbourhood Plan for the Tyburn Opportunity Frontage”.

Above retail and restaurant space, 42 residential apartments command spectacular views over Green Park and Berkeley Square.
