In 2019 the scheme was granted unanimously based on the strength of the housing and retail offering, while activating the links between the public square and the future Burgess Park underground station. Sam was also Design Partner for our regeneration proposals for 8 Albert Embankment in Lambeth on behalf of U+I, delivering new homes, a new Fire Station, a new Fire Services Museum, a hotel, retail and office space. The scheme got the green light in 2019. Earlier, he led the team on the design of The Aspen. Currently under construction, our proposals establish a new public space as a centrepiece of this 35 and 65 storey mixed-use development.

Prior to founding Pilbrow & Partners, Sam was an Associate Partner at PLP Architecture from its inception and prior to this worked at KPF from 2008.
